Circle of life

I have been on Facebook for the last few months. I was less than impressed at first.

Lately I've started to put some effort into locating people that I dearly loved but have lost touch with because...well...life marches on and people move and I move and...it gets hard to keep up.

Today I found 2 very special young people from my past. They were kids in the youth group and I was one of the adult leaders. As time went on they both dated various peole and I just kept my mouth shut because I had this dream/wish/fantasy that they'd finally find one another someday. THEY DID. I was at their wedding a few years ago (my husband officiated). I'm here to tell you, I couldn't have felt more like I was marrying off my own child (yes, I have issues - we're aware of that!).

Today, in my facebok searchings, I discovered that they've had a little baby!!!

My heart is full.

The internet is filled with pithy blogs so I don't figure anyone is missing out if I just blather on about my hobbies.

Speaking of hobbies: I finished another apron! This one is reversible.

This one happens to be empty. AND **shame of shame** I actually have THAT picture in the listing on etsy. I'm such a terrible photographer!

Anyway - I think this one's SO cute!!

And Then there were THREE!

This is the one I'm sending my Mom for her birthday.

Sewing is so much faster than knitting.

Today I made two aprons. Two! I'll make more tomorrow.

It would be nice if I could wax eloquent and also take great pictures. Thus making this entry more fun to read. Oh well... I am what I am.

Maybe I'll try my hand at some artsy shots of the fabric and post them later.
