The pattern is Abby by Amy Singer
This pattern is written to be used with handspun silk. If I had any, I would have used it. What I did have was some sock weight merino wool and it worked very nicely.
Ignore my scowling face. I was trying so hard to see what kind of photo I'd get that I forgot to look somewhat pleasant.
I made this to go with my green coat (in the top photo). The lining of the coat is the same shade of blue.
And - Heron should be finished in the next couple of days. Just have to block it.
Gorgeous. You know, I tried on a sweater the other day that actually CAME with a removable cowl. Couldn't believe it. Guess I should knit one, too!

ReplyDeleteI wore my teal cowl today. I was a cold, snowy day and it kept me warm and went so well with my grey collarless sweater. Definitely a winner!
