Next up: Fringed Hobo Bag!

Honesty would dictate that I tell you how cautious I'm feeling about this bag.   *shudder*.

First:  I don't really like it.   But my daughter does and I'm making it for her (shhhh.  she doesn't know). We both agree that the fringe has "GOT TO GO".  So I'm using ric-rac around the edges instead.  I think it will go perfectly with the print I've chosen.

Second:  This project is in the Advanced/Experienced section of the book.   By no stretch do I qualify as advanced OR Experienced.   Unless we're counting blunders, mistakes and downright stupid.  I've got a lot of experience there.

Which explains why I'm actually taking a class to do this one.

My pieces are all cut out and interfaced and fused and any other thing that was necessary to get ready.

The polka dots will be the lining and pockets.  The swirly print is the main part of the outside and the handles.  The smaller section is the yoke (upper section of the large round).

My class takes place the next two Sundays.   My friend Lisa and I are taking it together.   We're looking forward to it.

I'm actually looking forward to it!

  2. The only real failure is failing to try! Just think, no matter how it turns out... you get P for passing, at least ;)
