It was a very challenging item to construct. Knowing WHAT to do isn't quite the same as actually making it happen. My sewing machine was rather uncooperative as well. *sigh* But I emerged victorious! I shall go forth to sew several aprons in the next few days!
Dang, I love to sew.
Oh and on a more humorous "it figures" sort of note - my daughter says, of this bag in particular, "I like it but I don't love it." Guess I'll list this on etsy afterall and go back to the drawing board on a surprise for her birthday.
It's okay. I have several months.
It turned out great! I'm sure some etsy customer *will* love it and prove their love with cold, hard cash. :)

Love the rick-rack too! The bag is a cute design and you chose super fabrics. Sorry your dd wasn't so thrilled. I live in that same place. *sigh*
